What is this?

This feature allows you to store the current mapping settings that are configured in the wizard to a single file. Therefore, you can easily preserve different useful mapping settings like e.g. the selected features, clustering and 3d-embedding settings. This is especially useful when working with others.

How does it work?

  • The export function is located in the 3D-Viewer (Edit->Export->Export wizard settings). The settings are saved into a file.
  • The import function is located in the Wizard in the first wizard step (button Import wizard settings).
  • Sharing settings with others: Note that the actual dataset is not stored in the settings file. Your partner must have the dataset in the same folder as the settings file, or at the exact same path on this machine. Using datasets that are located in the web, is no problem of course.
